Salters Festival of Chemistry

Bebington High Sports College students have recently taken part in Salters Festival of Chemistry which was held at John Moores University in Liverpool.

The event was aimed to develop students’ problem solving skills in chemistry and our students took part in the competition along with students from all over the North West, working in teams to accurately complete a series of experiments.

The students were a credit to the school, working well together to investigate CSI types of situations in a fun way. The students unfortunately missed out on a prize in a timed exercise by just 1 second, however they all received a goodie bag and a certificate as an appreciation for all of their hard work.

The students enjoyed the experience of working in the University laboratories and were keen to take their Science further in the future.
