Bebington High Sports College & Wirral Council working together

Bebington High School was approached by Wirral Metropolitan Borough Council to help produce video documenting charitable services that had received funding from the Council Area Forums.

Three A level students, Philip McNee, Andrew Hill and Christopher Brown travelled to Birkenhead Fire Station with their teacher Mr Rickers, to film for ‘Safeguarding Children Services’.

The students were asked to operate cameras and monitors which was a fantastic opportunity to get hands on experience as part of their ‘A’ level media Studies course and they were excellent at approaching the sensitive subject matter with maturity.

The Students produced approximately 10 minutes of film that will be edited next week at the Learning Lighthouse, a multimedia, digital imaging & video editing company in Wallasey.

This was an amazing experience which should inspire them for the future.
