Cheshire County FA

Two students in Bebington High Sports College have been chosen and given the opportunity to enhance their leadership skills further through the Cheshire County FA leadership event which is being held at Cheshire County Sports Club in Chester on the 15th February 2010.

Students Ben Jones and Shane Moore will be involved in various practical workshops delivered by County FA staff. From Age Appropriate Coaching, which is aimed to provide knowledge and confidence in coaching young players aged 5-11, Inclusive Football to aid with coaching players with a disability and also Refereeing mini soccer.

The students are really excited about being chosen for this opportunity and the liaison between Bebington High and Cheshire County FA will enable our two leaders to gain valuable experience from the vast knowledge and expertise of professional staff. Ben & Shane will both gain enormous satisfaction from the experience, as the experience develops many aspects of leadership skills and qualities such as organisation, communication and confidence.

From the moment students arrive at Bebington High Sports College they are offered the opportunity to gain confidence and train to become leaders, through the leadership programme which runs at the school. Bebington High Sports College have high aspirations for their students and believe that the leadership ladder helps students with the skills which will in turn prepare them for their future adult life.
