KS5 Results

17th August 2017

Bebington High Sports College has continued to improve upon their impressive year on year performance at KS5 for the fifth year in a row. Such impressive results have enabled the Sixth Form to be rated 'Good' by OFSTED in its last inspection and has placed the school in the top 25% of all KS5 providers nationally for outcomes according to ALPs (rating the sixth form as 'Excellent'). This year's A Level results will further bolster the Sixth Form's reputation as one of the best post-16 providers on the Wirral.

For the second year in a row the school has maintained a 100% pass rate at A Level with strong results in English Literature and Language as well as Biology. Average points per entry has increased and students have achieved more A* to B grades than last academic year, with 36% of all A Level students gaining at least one B or higher. This has enabled the majority of Year 13 students to be admitted to their first choice of university, with students going on to study at institutions such as the University of Sheffield, Liverpool University, Liverpool John Moores, Liverpool Hope, Edge Hill and the University of Chester.

Headteacher Ms Catherine Kelly said "Our results are increasing year by year and are a testament to the hard work and dedication of all our staff and are well deserved by our students."
