Between the months of October and March, three Year 10 B’Tec Art students, from Bebington High Sports College have been working together with students from Rock Ferry High and Oldershaw school to complete their Junior Guide Training.
The Students Keilly Hogarth, Rebecca Clarke and Abigail Hill, have been leading ‘Gallery workshops’ with groups of up to thirty children from 4 local primary schools to help with an element of their Duke of Edinburgh Award and to also achieve their Arts Council Bronze Award.
The Students have had an amazing time interacting with the primary school students and will be exhibiting their ‘Sunlight’ exhibition from Tuesday, 15th April in the Lady Lever Art Gallery in Port Sunlight
This will be an on going occurrence for Bebington High Sports College, who are in partnership with the National Museums and Galleries on Merseyside and hopefully next years students will enjoy learning new skills and will build on this year’s success.Higher Bebington Road, Bebington, Wirral, CH63 2PS|Telephone: 0151 645 4154|Fax: 0151 643 8065
