Sir's MBE! (Friday 25th November 2005)

On 27th September 2005, one of our long serving Governors, Mr Donald Wingate, was rewarded for his many years serving our school and our community with an MBE issued by Prince Charles.

Mr Wingate's commitment to the care and education of our children is second to none. He has been a School Governor for 42 years, serving on four Schools in Bebington; Mill Road (10 years), Town Lane (28 years - no longer a Governor), Bebington Sports College (28 Years - Vice Chair of Governors) and Brakenwood Junior School (42 years - Vice Chair of Governors).

This honour has been well deserved and everyone at Bebington High wish him well.
