Our School's Success

North West Regional Athletic Championships for Disabled & Deaf Athletes 2008

Three Students from Bebington High Sports College have been chosen to represent a Wirral squad in conjunction with Wirral Athletics Club to the North West Regional Athletic Championships for Disabled and Deaf Athletes 2008

10 Schools on Merseyside are competing at the event being held at the Sports City Athletic Stadium in Manchester on the 27th April. This opportunity is part of Wirral’s commitment to finding the next podium performers for the 2012 and 2016 Paralympic Games and Successful athletes will go through to the National Championships later on in the year, which are being held in Blackpool.

Students Daniel Gouding, Sarah Moreland and James Wright were chosen for this event after competing in a recent Gifted and Talented ID sports day, held at Bebington High Sports College.

Bebington High Sports College and Clare Mount Specialist Sports College are working together to increase sporting opportunities for young people with special needs.
