Samantha bowls them over

Samantha Hilton a Year 11 student at Bebington High Sports College is a maiden that is definitely aiming to bowl the crowds over. She has been playing cricket since she joined Tranmere Vic’s Cricket Club at the age of 9 and since then has not looked back.

Samantha plays for Birkenhead Park Cricket Club were she trains at least 4 times a week, she also plays for Neston Ladies Cricket Club and has played for Cheshire County Cricket Club U17’s for the last 4 seasons, under the watchful eye of her coach Andy Paton, gaining 4 of their coveted caps.

Samantha is starting to make an impact and due to her sheer hard work and commitment to her training has recently been called up to play for Cheshire Ladies, which is the next step to be chosen for England and this is definitely Samantha’s ultimate goal in life.

Bebington High Sports College is extremely proud of this exceptionally committed sportswoman, and as Samantha strives to improve her game even more, she is certainly a name to look out for in the future.
