Wirral Floodlit Rugby Competition

Bebington School Sports Partnership recently ran a floodlit rugby competition across Wirral for U12 boys. The 10 events took place between January and April at Birkenhead Park RFC, New Brighton RFC and Caldy RFC. 12 secondary schools and over 200 boys took part in the event and the enthusiasm and standard of rugby was superb. The finals night took place at Parkonians on Thursday 10th April.

St John Plessington was declared the winning team with medals and the inaugural 'U12s Super 10s Shield'. The Runner Up was Park High Sports College and the Plate Winners: Bebington High Sports College. The score in the final was actually 10 all! However, St John Plessington won by virtue of a 'first try' rule!
